National Institute for the Mentally Handicapped established in the year 1984 at Manovikasnagar, Secunderabad (AP) is an Autonomous Body under the administrative control of Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India and thus the institute is fast approaching towards its silver jubilee to celebrate its dedicated services to persons with mental retardation in the national interest.
The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is an apex resource organization set up by the Government of India, with headquarter at New Delhi, to assist and advise the Central and State Governments on academic matters related to school education.
PROGRAMMES AND ACTIVITIES
The NCERT undertakes the following programmes and activities.
The Central University of Karnataka (CUK) has been established by an Act of the Parliament (No. 3 of 2009) at Gulbarga, Karnataka. It is one of the 16 new Central Universities established by the Government of India during the UGC XI Plan Period to address to the concerns of ‘equity and access’ and to increase the access to quality higher education by people in less educationally developed districts which have a Graduate Enrolment Ratio of less than the national average of 11%.
Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD) is an Institute of National Importance by the Act of Parliament No.35/2012, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India.
The Institute is located at Sriperumbudur, nearly 40 kilometers south of Chennai city, the commercial and cultural capital and a buoyant metropolis of Tamilnadu ,the third most industrialized States in India.
The National Law Institute University was establish ed by the Act No. 41 of the State Legislature of Madhya Pradesh i n 1997. The National Law Institute University has earned a fron t line status of an institution imparting quality legal education, c onducting research in cutting edge areas of law and organizin g workshops, seminars and training programs. In its brief journey of about a decade, it has been able to carve out a niche for i tself in academic excellence and placement of its students.
Applications are invited from candidates seeking admission to first year professional degree courses for the academic year 2013 - 14 under the purview of CENTAC. Candidates who have alre ady passed HSc or an equivalent qualifying examination and those who have appeared in such qualifying examination during March /April 2013 are also eligible for admission, subject to fulfilling the stipulated minimum marks in the prescribed subjects for th e various courses and the criteria for age.
Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, is a Central University of India, located in Bilaspur C.G. State, established under Central Universities Act 2009, No. 25 of 2009. Formerly called Guru Ghasidas University (GGU), established by an Act of the State Legislative Assembly, was formally inaugurated on June 16, 1983. GGU is an active member of the Association of Indian Universities and Association of Commonwealth Universities.
